Gary Calabrese...
Gary was born and raised in Seneca Falls, and has seriously studied the saxophone since 1985. 

He immersed himself into the local music community, and began playing live with a diverse group  of artists such as Frontline, Azusa, Rich Wheeler & Company, Avenue Blue, The Syndicate and Doxy Moon. 

Presently he plays with Joey T. and The Formula, Nick Gillette & Company, and the infamous Elvis Presley Jr.

 Because of his versatility and remarkable ability to improvise, he
welcomes any opportunity to sit in with other artists, such as the evening he was captured joining in on a few tunes with Eddie Shaw and The Wolf Gang. His abilities include Alto, Soprano, and  Tenor sax as well as Digital Wind Synthesizer. He sings both lead and backup vocals.

Gary's long list of playbills include an international tour in the Winter of 2001, with Elvis Presley Jr., the one and only son of the King.  His stops included a 10-city tour of England, playing on some of the most well known
stages England has to offer, such as:

King Georges Hall, Blackburn
Southport Theatre, Southport
Colston Hall, Bristol
Bedford Corn Exchange, Bedford
Blackpool Opera House, Blackpool

Gary wishes to extend his heartfelt thanks to his mentor, Mike Signorelli, with whom he shared a special bond of
friendship, trust and respect, and who will never be forgotten, as well as to his parents, Mike and Gina, who have
always been there for him and have always shown their love and support.

A huge thanks also goes out to the many friends and fans who continue to follow his career and attend his performances.

Formula Fact: Gary was the first call Joey made when he was putting together the band. He and Joey are the
two original members and have been together since day one of The Formula.
