George Newton...
Born in Elkhorn Wisconsin, George grew up in Fairport, New York in a
musical family. His mother and father met each other in the Chicago
Symphony and his father went to the Eastman School of Music.
George has been playing piano since he was
three and performing since he was four. In grade school, George picked up
the trumpet and became the solo trumpet player in the Fairport Band as
well as the All State Band.
Throughout high school, George played in
rock and roll bands at high school dances, recreation centers, and
graduation parties.
For a short time after graduation, George
played professionally in the Rochester area, when he decided that he
should go to law school and represent musicians and other artists when he
graduated.
After a number of years as a successful
trial lawyer with top law firms in New Jersey and Philadelphia, George has
come back to his roots to play music and fulfill his dream of representing
musicians and artists in the Rochester area.
Throughout his college, law school, and legal endeavors, George has
continued to be an active performer as well as a songwriter and arranger.
George joined the group in June of 2001.
